The historical dress component for the final year of the Dalhousie Costume Studies program.
Reproduction of a c. 1875 woman’s tea gown. This project was based upon a number of historical sources and aimed to produce an accurate replica of a c. 1875 garment.
Tea Gown
Grey worsted wool, white silesia lining, black cotton lace.
Hand-stitched decorative gathering on front and sleeves. Gown flat-lined throughout.
